App Details

  • No install required — open the app in any phone browser on race day. No app store, no account, and no setup while runners are lining up. Add to home screen for a full-screen experience if you like.
  • Easily record results with many runners — big record button, auto position numbers, and a finish-line workflow designed for large fields when finishers cross close together.
  • Live time trial recording — sync the clock to your start time, keep it running with screen wake-lock, and tap record as each runner crosses the line.
  • Manual upload for past time trials — missed recording live? Type in results from paper after the race and still publish them to the archive.
  • 2km, 4km, 6km and 8km options — tag each section with the right distance so mixed fields and different club setups stay organised.
  • Share or publish your results — send formatted results to WhatsApp or Facebook, export HTML, or upload to Time Trial Results for an official searchable record.
  • Fully functional offline — record at the track with no signal. Share and upload once you are back on connection.

How it works

Follow these super easy steps to record your results — open the app, tap record at the finish line, and upload your times when the field is done.

Step 1: Open the App

Add the app to your home screen, or visit timetrialresults.co.za and tap Record Time Trial at the top. No download or app store needed.

Step 2: Choose Your Mode

Select Start Time Trial for live finish-line recording, or Add Results Manually to type in results you already have on paper.

Step 3: Record Live

Start the clock with the gun, then tap record as each runner finishes. Call out their number at the line — you can add names afterwards.

Step 4: Finish & Upload

Enter each runner's name, fill in the required details, and log in to upload to Time Trial Results. Then share to WhatsApp, Facebook, or anywhere else.
